Bicycling has been one of my greatest passions for as long as I can remember.  For years, I only considered mountain biking and thought road biking was too old school for me (I was born in 1981).  Wow, have things changed!  While I consider myself both a mountain biker and a road biker, I am beginning to get addicted to the training, science, and strategy of road biking.  I am not a racer, but love incredibly difficult rides (i.e., those that require lots of climbing).  Luckily we live near the Sierras!  To top it off, my wife is an excellent training partner.  The rides below only cover what my wife and I have enjoyed since we started training in early 2009 to successfully finish the Climb to Kaiser for the first time.  Enjoy and have some adventures on two wheels!
