The majestic and glorious Sierra Nevada mountains of California - no other mountain range can combine the hiker-friendly attributes of easy access, mild weather, and incredible scenery.  It is a place where God’s beautiful creation is pure, and the Lord’s awesome power can be seen firsthand.

The “call” of the Sierras has attracted my wife and I to explore the wilderness from Yosemite National Park in the north to the Mineral King region of Sequoia National Park in the south - and everywhere in between.

As a water resources engineer in Fresno, CA, I have actually been able to occasionally work on projects related to the Sierras, especially the Kings River (mainly below the dam, however).  I am so blessed to be married to my best friend and adventure partner.  And with a kid on the way, we’re already scheming ways to take our kid with us on our future adventures.
